Together

Welcome to Our Community!

Our group consists of professionals from various fields including psychology, philosophy, obstetrics, law, personal training, lactation consulting, and psychiatry, all working in perinatal care.

Whether you are pregnant, trying to conceive while facing infertility, coping with a pregnancy loss, considering voluntary termination, embarking on adoption or surrogacy, donating eggs or sperm, starting an LGBTQ+ family, struggling to understand your feelings postpartum, feeling isolated or down, struggling in your relationship, or unsure about your newborn or toddler's needs — we are here to help!

How Can We Help You?

We want to address problem of inadequate attention and care especially during the first and fourth trimesters of pregnancy. Yes, there is a fourth trimester. The trimester immediately after delivering your baby is one of the most delicate for your health.

We want to offer a safe space where to talk to professionals in case you seek medical, psychological, existential, legal, practical help. We understand the challenges that come with balancing your new responsibilities while ensuring you take care of yourself.

Our community is designed to be a supportive safe place where you can connect with experts who can provide the guidance you need.

From the moment you conceive until after your pregnancy whether it ends with a delivery of healthy baby or a miscarriage, you live through periods of significant yet under-explored changes. This turmoil is leading to significant emotional, physical, and financial challenges for women.

This lack of care can result in alienation, objectification, and loss of identity (Young 1984; Bornemark 2023; Kristeva 1980), with substantial implications for women's well-being and societal costs. The project aims to resolve these issues by advocating for better recognition and care, potentially impacting policies and practices in prenatal care.

Our Goals

To Offer Professional Advice

We’re here to help with:

  • managing the emotional ups and downs
  • navigating legal concerns (related to maternity leave, obstetrical violence, IVF... )
  • exploring practical advices (related to abortion, miscarriage, newborn, childbirth, fertility issues, adoption...)

To create a Community and a Safe Space for you

We are looking forward to:

  • listen to your experiences
  • offer encouragement
  • provide a listening ear

To have your back, no matter what

We want to:

  • ensure you have access to the resources and support you need to thrive during this critical time
  • help you every step of the way.
